In recognition of National Immunization Awareness Month, the Gwen Lily Research Foundation is pleased to host this special Learning Series session in partnership with the Antibody Innovation Alliance (AIA): “Vaccines, Trust, and Community Health.” This session will explore the evolving landscape of immunization and immune-based protection, including how public trust, access, and emerging biomedical innovations shape population health outcomes.


While vaccines remain one of the most effective tools in preventing infectious disease, communities continue to face challenges related to misinformation, unequal access, and varying levels of trust in healthcare systems. This conversation will examine these barriers while also expanding the dialogue beyond traditional immunization approaches to include the role of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) as an additional layer of protection for individuals who may not fully benefit from vaccines alone.
