The Gwen Lily Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing health equity through inclusive, community-centered research, education, and advocacy. We work alongside historically marginalized and underserved communities to dismantle systemic barriers in healthcare and research by elevating lived experiences, amplifying local knowledge, and expanding access to trusted, culturally relevant resources.​
Mission & Approach
The Gwen Lily Research Foundation advances health equity by supporting, educating, and empowering community-centered research. We work to dismantle structural barriers by uplifting the voices, knowledge, and leadership of historically marginalized populations, particularly Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, and other communities of color. GLRF focuses on building trust, translating research into action, and ensuring that the people most impacted by health inequities are meaningfully involved in shaping research agendas, policies, and solutions. Through public education, community advocacy, and resource connection, we create spaces where equity-driven research can thrive.
