About the event

As we continue to honor World AIDS Day (Dec 1st), this session will examine the evolving landscape of HIV care and prevention. Despite decades of progress, Black, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized communities continue to face stigma, inequities in access, and systemic barriers that hinder health outcomes. This important conversation with Viiv Healthcare will highlight the importance of equity-driven strategies, culturally responsive education, and the power of community-based advocacy in addressing today’s HIV challenges.

Key Topics:

  • Screening access and awareness

  • Clinical trial diversity

  • Culturally relevant patient education

  • The role of community health workers and peer advocates
