About the event
Session Description
Diabetes continues to disproportionately affect Native and racially/ethnically diverse communities, driven by inequities in food systems, healthcare access, and cultural disconnects in education and care. In honor of National Diabetes Month and Indigenous Heritage Month, this November Learning Series will examine how food systems, cultural traditions, and systemic inequities shape diabetes risk, care, and outcomes in Native and racially/ethnically diverse communities.
