In recognition of Healthy Aging Month, the Gwen Lily Research Foundation invites you to join our September Learning Series session, “Aging with Dignity: Health, Independence, and Community.” This conversation will explore what it means to age well in today’s healthcare and social systems, and how communities can better support older adults in maintaining independence, dignity, and quality of life.


As populations age, individuals and families are increasingly navigating complex health, caregiving, and social challenges. This session will examine the realities of chronic disease management in older adulthood, the evolving role of caregivers, and the importance of coordinated support systems that extend beyond clinical care. The discussion will also highlight how caregiving responsibilities impact families and communities, and why caregiver support is a critical component of healthy aging.


Panelists will explore how age-friendly communities and services can improve access, reduce isolation, and enhance overall well-being for older adults. In addition, the session…
